For the last 10 years a small band of like-minded people have been carrying the flag of the
Colorado Freedom Memorial. You have likely seen us at veteran's events, concerts and other
activities where those who love and support our military are gathered. Perhaps you've read
an article about us or visited our website at www.cfmf.net. It's been our honor to remind
Coloradoans that we have a debt to those who gave their lives for our freedoms, and that
debt is to make sure their sacrifice is never forgotten.
We know for a while now lots of people have been thinking about supporting the
Colorado Freedom Memorial. It's something you've meant to give time or cash to but something
else always seems to get in the way. Well, the time has come to set aside everything between
you and the Colorado Freedom Memorial and help make this monument to all Colorado veterans
who have been killed in action a reality. With very favorable construction costs available
to us right now there's been no better time for us to build the Memorial, but we must act
quickly. Here's how you can help.
We are teaming up with the Aurora Chamber of Commerce; VisitAurora.com;
KEZW AM-1430; Dry Dock Brewing Company; the American Legion Department of Colorado and
many area businesses for FREEDOM 2012. It's a simple fund-raising campaign where we're asking
everyone along the Front Range to put us over the top by donating to the Colorado Freedom Memorial
between now and the month of May. Our goal is to raise $400k which would allow us to begin
construction THIS YEAR!! That's less that twenty-five cents a person for everyone in the
Metro area! You can help us by making a donation, becoming a donation location, challenging
your employees to get involved or by coming up with your own fund raiser. FREEDOM 2012 is our
most ambitious effort yet to raise the final funds needed to build the lasting tribute to
Colorado's fallen. Are you in?
