The Colorado Freedom Memorial

"We Did It!" With those words Colorado Freedom Memorial President, Rick Crandall, began his speech at the dedication of the Memorial on May 26, 2013. "Today we say to our fallen heroes across the generations, we have not and we will not forget you. For this day let us celebrate, let us commemorate and let us know that here, in this place, on this day, we honored the very best of us." Since that day thousands of people have visited the Memorial to pay tribute to the fallen. Soon the Memorial will be joined by a computer kiosk with a searchable database where visitors can enter the name of an honoree and be shown exactly where to find them on the wall. There will also be a history of the project, designer's description of the Memorial and other information. The Colorado Freedom Memorial is quickly becoming a gathering place for families of the fallen, those who served with the fallen and others who simply want to pay respects.

We welcome your visit and remind you if you have any questions feel free to call the Colorado Freedom Memorial office at 303-248-3990. The Names...
Is this all of them? Is the Colorado Freedom Memorial 100% accurate? Sadly, the answer is no. It's the most accurate accounting of Colorado veterans killed in action that we know of, but we're certain there are more names to discover.
